I'm addicted. I confess. 

I'm an #onlineshopaholic. 

At nights when I can't seem to sleep, I go to www.asos.com and click "Add To Cart". It instantly makes me happy. single. time. When I come back after a long rough week and I receive my order (insert #happyparcelday), it puts a smile on my face. 

But recently, due to the rise of online scams, read this, this and this, I've been a little wary about where I shop online. I normally don't go for blogshops that only accepts payment via bank transfers or online banking unless I really trust the seller but other than that, I normally go for online sites that accept payment by credit/debit cards and those that I'm familiar with like Asos. Check out my collection of apparels from Asos. This is not the full album, about 80% of my wardrobe essentials are from them. Asos' service is not bad until a recent encounter that disappointed me, but they've since refunded my money, given me a 10% discount (Hi team Asos, if you're reading this, how about 50% next time?) and Express delivery so it's all good now.

I have a couple of readers telling me that they can't shop on sites Asos because they don't own a credit/debit card, so I finally found a solution for you. Safe, easy, fast - what more can you ask for?

I bought a pearl collar necklace from the Geylang bazaar a few weeks back.

Anyway, I just wanted to share with you an awesome payment method for your online shopping needs. 

For me, I used to do bank transfers. I still do it now actually, but I personally prefer paying via Mastercard. I'm now fully utilising my FRANK by Ocbc debit card. Ahem! Then again the disadvantage is that everytime I go to another shopping site, I have to key in my card details all over again. (I still love you FRANK. You're still the hottest debit card around.... but I've also found an alternative for my online shopping needs. :P) 

It's..... Paypal! 

I know Paypal has been in the market for quite some time, but believe it or not... I just made my first transaction a few days ago when I shopped at Zalora!

Anyway, if you aren't aware, Zalora also has plus sized clothes. However, the choices are very limited so I didn't get any for myself this time. Perhaps next time, when they have something that catches my eye!

After checking out the site for almost an hour, I decided to purchase an Alexander McQueen inspired clutch and a necklace. Will show you once I've received them! :) 

So how do you pay via Paypal?

2) Select Paypal as a payment method.

 Step 3: Log into your Paypal account.

& You're done! Fast and safe. No wonder it is Singapore's most preferred way to pay online and on mobile! ;)

Other sites that also offer Paypal as a payment method include Studiofrost and Plusylicious, an online site selling plus sized clothing I featured a few months ago on my blog. =)

Wore this red dress to KL the other day. It is one of my favourite dresses so far because it's red and all cutesy. I've always wanted to find a dress like this with printed hearts on it but no avail. :)

I've never  really been much of a make up junkie. Most of the time, I'll just wear my usual toner, moisturizer, BB cream, 2 way cake, mascara and lip gloss. An open letter to all annoying blogshop owners

Before you read this entry, you might wanna read this entry I wrote months ago 

complaining about this blogshop owner. :)

I was on Facebook about half an hour ago and this blogshop owner posted this up as a Facebook status. I commented on her status shortly after that but the owner deleted my comment + blocked me on FB after that. Hahahahahaha seriously? 

Dear blogshop owners,

I'm sick and tired of your rants about deadbuyers. I know, it's your space, your blogshop and it's totally up to you how you wanna run it. But looks like all of you are facing the same problem. 

So you thought opening up a blogshop was easy. All you had to do was to look for a supplier, determine the price, open a Facebook account/blog and upload photos. Woohoo! Money's gonna roll in soon! Yay!! 

AND THEN YOU REALISE. BOOM. 

DEADBUYERS. 

Get over it. Suck it up and move on. In the real world, business deals fall through all the time. If you choose to do your business ONLINE, then this is the risk that you have to take. You win some, you lose some. Whoever said that life is fair? If you are not willing to go through this, then open your own physical retail shops like these blogshops - When blogshops get physical.

Blogshops online. Yay or nay?

I like the idea of online shopping. I'm sure we all do. It's easy. It's convenient, and it's so easy to compare prices with other blogshops. But sometimes I get annoyed by blogshops too. 

SLOW REPLIES

I guess, social media has made us all super connected to each other, and to the whole world. We're not very patient anymore, and if we ask something, we expect a reply within a day or two. Not sure if it applies to you, but it definitely applies to me. (Yes, I'm that impatient! I expect replies to be almost immediate.) 

 YOU DON'T GET TO TRY OUT THE STUFF
For people who are small sized, I guess it's easy for you to find your own sizes. Well, things normally fit you well. But for plus size people like me, if the outfit we buy is really expensive and we're not even sure if it fits us well, then it might not be worth it. I really avoid buying shoes online because I have very broad feet. The shoe might be a size 8, but I still might not be able to fit it because of the small cutting. 

 BLOGSHOPS WHICH OVERCHARGE ITS CUSTOMERS 
It annoys me alot when I come across blogshops like this. Please stop treating your customers like they are really stupid, and for everyone else who still continues to buy from these blogshops, please stop being very naive. Don't be cheated anymoreeee. :(

BLOGSHOP SCAMS
I've been hearing alot about how some blogshops are scamming their customers. Not replying emails, not sending out what is promised, not even refunding. Seriously. How are you really sure that the blogshop which you buy from is not a scam? There are a few ways to find out!

Check their online platforms!!
Are customers complaining on their FB wall? Are their queries answered or ignored? 

What about on Twitter? Use the mentions button and look through whether other customers are really happy with their service and products. 

Found no dirt?
