Love how this dress automatically makes me look super girly. Perfect for dress down days when you wanna still look good yet not over the top. I wore this outfit during the Christmas public holiday to Mustafa Centre with my family. LOVE, LOVE! 

Received a basic Pandora bracelet from the boss for Christmas . Thank you lao ban! Have also added charms to the bracelet. Total damage around $300+. Been receiving enquiries about the cost of Pandora charms ever since I posted a photo of the bracelet on Instagram. The cheapest bracelet charm is about $44. The price varies for the different designs. Dangling charms cost about $90. Hope this helps! 

Had a haircut on Christmas eve. The ends of my hair are extremely dry so I've decided to snip the last 7 inches off. Dyed my hair again, this time to a darker colour. The original plan was to dye my hair purple but after walking out of the salon, my hair looked brown instead of my desired colour. Sigh.... Such is life! You don't always get what you want, don't you?! That's it. I'm dying my hair red next!

Houndstooth Prints in Monochrome or Colour?

As you can see, I'm trying to experiment with with different prints. One of the key prints this Fall, is the houndstooth print. The traditional black and white prints makes it easy to pair the prints with any colour, which includes a bold red lip colour which. This dress is probably one of the most expensive dresses I've bought so far. Retails at $77 from Asos and is a birthday present from my parents!

Wore this outfit to my visit to Pondok Gurame at Changi. Will share more about the food there soon, I think. Still thinking whether they deserve any publicity at all for their mediocre food and horrible service. 

Anyway, wanted to share more apparels with the Houndstooth prints. Totally love it in colour! It's not actually a new trend, but you know how every now and then a trend returns? This isone of those trends. I thought Lady Gaga looked pretty hot in the prints, especially the shades so I included a picture of her too.

Keeping It Simple With Monochromes

So, one moment I tell you I love colours. The next moment, I'm wearing a boring OL outfit to work. 

Knitted sweater with gems courtesy of Sabreena. Was looking through my cupboard and I found this old dress I got from Eastpoint years ago. Remind me never to get anything white ever again. It really doesn't go with my skin tone and it's such a pain in the ass to keep it clean. 

Visited the National Museum last week with my family. This is really random, but why don't boys nowadays bring us girls to museums for dates? Instead of going mainstream like the usual shopping malls, perhaps you could try something different instead? Great idea uh huh!

Wore this red dress to KL the other day. It is one of my favourite dresses so far because it's red and all cutesy. I've always wanted to find a dress like this with printed hearts on it but no avail. :)

Went to ate Capricciosa at Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur the other day with my brother. Food was pretty meh. Not sure about the one in Singapore though.  

Ordered the Rice Croquette, Sicilian Style. It is basically a rice ball with cheese inside and served with their homemade beef tomato sauce. 

My brother ordered the Black Ink Pasta and didn't finish it up. Tasted fishy and it was really messy so we decided not to continue eating it. Probably just didn't mix well with our Malay tastebuds. Lol

The day I broke the "Fat Girl Rules".

Let me list down some rules we fat girls have to stick to according to the fashionistas everywhere. 

1) We can't wear prints 

2) We can't wear anything with horizontal stripes 

3) Always wear black because it makes you slimmer 

4) Wear baggy clothes. Hide yo body shape from everyone else. 

5) Seriously, don't even try wearing any bright attention seeking colours. 

Well, you see. I've grown up my whole life being a silent rebel.

Sometimes I feel that most plus size blogshops tend to have almost the same items, especially those whose suppliers are from Korea and China. After some time, you'll just feel like looking for clothes which are unique and.... flatter your figure, but as usual... there isn't much variety....

I think alot of plus size women have the same issue. They're worried that the clothes they see online, might not be able to fit them. Don't worry, I used to be like you too. You know how you step into some shop, like a certain clothing, but they don't have it in your size and you'll feel disappointed after that? I've been there too. Well, when it comes to clothes online, the most important thing is that you need to now what size do you wear exactly. 

For me, I'm a USA size 20. 

I used to not now what pit to pit meant. Hehe :P

I got myself basics like black leggings... :)

This is a basic, every girl should have. You know, when we have low cut dresses and you need to cover up a little, this would be good! Comes in black and white, so I wanted to get 1 piece of each colour but the black tube for my size is sold out. 

But white is good too because it's easy to match with my dresses! ;)

I've always wanted to get myself a Poncho but I can't seem to find ponchos in my size, so when I saw it being sold at Plusylicious, I told myself that I NEED to get myself a piece. 

I thought the poncho wouldn't come with a lining/spaghetti strap top inside, but I was wrong! 

 I'm actually thinking of pairing this piece with a kain songket. Not sure if it will work, but I'll try and show it to you guys soon! :)

Since it's a figure hugging dress, I would suggest you wear your corset/shapewear/tummy trimmer. Oh wow, and look at that plunging neckline. ;)
