There's nowhere I'd rather be this New Year's Eve - Siloso Beach Party 2014

Monday, December 22, 2014 / , , , ,

MynameisQUE;

1 more week to the biggest countdown party of the year!

I've been spending my new year's eve at the Siloso Beach Party for the last 3 years. It's like a yearly tradition for me to soak up the atmosphere because there's really nowhere else I'd rather be partying at this new year's eve. Really!!

Best part about the party is that with one ticket, you get access to FIVE distinctive party zones, a foam pool (normally avoid this because I don't want my make up to run haha) and a stretch of sandy dancefloor. Super worth it! I normally start out my evening with dinner at VivoCity, then at Mambo/Azzura before heading to the main arena. ;)

GETTING TICKETS?
Purchase them online now - http://bit.ly/1GE01Ok

From now till the 24th December, get each Siloso Beach Party pass at $58 ONLY. *
However, if you're planning to go with your friends, I'd suggest that you collate all the orders because it will cost only $300 for 6 passes!* While stocks last, Exclusively on Online Store

Find out more about the f&b promotions happening at the party here: http://bit.ly/1AQSMik

See you there, my loves!

*Tickets include 1 standard drink

P.S I'm giving away something on my Instagram account very soon! Keep your eyes peeled and follow me if you haven't ;) @rynaque

Wings Of Time, Sentosa's New Signature Night Show!

Friday, July 4, 2014 / , , , ,

MynameisQUE;

Read till the end, I'm having a giveaway!

If you don't already know, the iconic Sentosa night show called the Songs Of The Sea recently made its last debut a couple of months ago. Now, Sentosa has prepared a whole new night show called the Wings Of Time - their new signature evening extravaganza for locals and overseas guests! Unfortunately, I missed the media preview due to my busy schedule but I heard from my other media friends that the show is even better and more entertaning this time!

Wings of Time redefines conventional rules of story-telling with a poetic take to a tale of friendship and courage. The story of two teenagers, who help a bird-like creature, Shahbaz, find its way home, comes to life through an experiential fusion of multimedia effects, a catchy music score, and live talent performances. I don't want to spoil the show for you so I'm not gonna reveal more about the storyline.

I think it's a great way to spend your evening with your family and your loved ones! Heard there are fireworks too. ;) Do you know that it's the world's only permanent night show of its kind?

So it's giveaway time!

Halloween Special: Sentosa Spooktacular 2012

Saturday, October 13, 2012 / , , , ,

MynameisQUE;
<Sponsored>

The Halloween season is here again! This year, I was privileged to attend the media preview of Spooktacular organised by Sentosa. This year, there will be 5 new haunted trails, namely the Ouija Board, Camp Berhantu, Deadly Doll Studio, The Land of Lost Souls and The Last Sequel. This year's Spooktacular will be held at Fort Siloso.

Back in the 1980s, when we were part of the British colony, several forts defending our Singapore harbour were built. Of all forts built to defend our country, only Fort Siloso has been preserved which means to say that this year Spooktacular will be held at a place with so much history. This will also be the very first time in history that Fort Siloso is opened after the sun sets. On usual days, it will be closed at 6pm. Sounds exciting already? ;)

Outfit Of The Day
Skater dress from Qiqi Plus, Vampire Cape and Carlo Rino bag from their Classic Catch Collection

Here are some pictures of the friends I made at Spooktacular.

Verdict: I truly enjoyed myself and had a freaking good time! I would strongly recommend this!! I have to say that I am pretty thankful I had a media pass this time, otherwise the wait for the different trails might be pretty long because of the queue. If you don't mind paying a little extra, I suggest you get yourself the Fast Pass which will cost you an additional $25.

What to expect from this year's Spooktacular?

1) Lots of walking
Please make sure that you wear comfy shoes to the event.

2) Keep yourself hydrated
Drink enough water because you will be perspiring a lot. Not too much because it's not very easy to find a toilet too.

3) Bring a mini fan if you can
I was perspiring so much the other night. Trust me, you will thank me after that!

4) Save yourself the hassle of dressing up
Not everyone else will be as gung-ho as you! Dress comfortably. Your job is to enjoy the event!

5) Don't be a spoilsport!
Haha this year, I backed out for one of the trails because I didn't have a good feeling about it. I know I should have just gone for it. Tsk.... Such a spoilsport!!

Anyway, tickets to this year's Spooktacular are selling fast!! If you are thinking of getting your hands on the tickets, you can get them online here.

    What did we do after previewing the Sentosa Boardwalk? :)

    Thursday, January 27, 2011 / , ,

    MynameisQUE;

    Thanks for the invitation, Sy Yuan and Sentosa Group Communications. :)
    Before the adventure even started, *Sy Yuan* gave me a thumbs up!
    LOL. If I took a photo of him at the end of the day, I assure you that the picture
    would turn out very differently because we were super exhausted after the whole day.

    Thanks for Sentosa Group Communications, they actually brought us to
    the Megazip Adventure Park.

    Definitely going back in the evening one day just to snap more pictures.

    Turning eighteen with the girls...

    Thursday, October 7, 2010 / , , ,

    MynameisQUE;

    That day, Farah and me had to go to school for some briefing.
    After that, we took a bus to harbourfront, vivo to meet the girls.
    YES. THERE IS A STRAIGHT BUS TO VIVO FROM SP.
    How cool is that? I digress.

    I wasn't really wearing make up cos I was very excited and
    I couldn't be bothered. No contact lenses too. LOL
    Yes, bare face. :(

    My eyesight is really bad btw. So when we reached Vivo,
    Farah said the girls were sitting on the floor.

    I asked her, "Farah, what's that light on the floor? I can't see clearly".

    Turns out, they got for me a cake! :) So sweet of the girls.

    Photobucket

    LOL Finally can see the cake in front of my eyes. hehehe
