This flare butterfly top from FLOW is one of my favourite additions to my wardrobe! It’s simple, formal with intricate beading details that won’t make your outfit look too plain. I chose to pair this top with a long black skirt with a slide slit. If you think your outfit needs an extra dash of glam, then you should accessorize with rings and bracelets!

Every now and then, I think it’s important to invest in a good electric blue top! It’s great for colour blocking. You can pair it with a printed or plain – white or yellow skirt. Colour blocking automatically jazzes up your outfit. In fact, you’ll automatically feel happier when you wear happy colours!! Trust me on this one. :P

GIVEAWAY: MY VISIT TO FLOW BOUTIQUE, PAVILION, KUALA LUMPUR

Last month, I stumbled upon super cheap tickets to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia via Malindo Air and immediately made my purchase. You could say it was an impulse buy – I’d say it’s in line with my objective of going all #YOLO this year! Hehe. On a side note, airline tickets to KL is crazy cheap now so don’t miss out, OKAY????

Back to topic - Not sure if you remember this but some time April last year, a Malaysian clothing label for curvy and full-figured women called FLOW made its first appearance in Singapore via their pop – up counter at ISETAN Scotts. This time, since I was gonna be in Kuala Lumpur, I told myself that I MUST visit their biggest store which is in Pavilion Mall, Bukit Bintang.

What I love about FLOW is the fact that not only are their apparel appealing for bodies like you and I, the quality of their clothes are superb! I still have the apparel I got from them last year and they all look BRAND NEW despite being worn every now and then. The line carries sizes from US 8 (UK 12 to US 18 (UK22). ;)

Before I zoom into the boutique I visited, just sharing with you snippets of their latest SPRING 2015 Collection called Spring Breeze. So chic, fun and flirty! Love it. <3

  

Just look at these! They’re perfect to be worn for the weekends. Whether it’s a girls day out with your girlfriends or even if you’re just chilling by the pool, you can still channel your personality through your outfit. The moment I stepped into the boutique, I was immediately greeted by their team. Don’t take it the wrong way – I wasn’t given special treatment just because I was a blogger. They do this to all their other customers too! (Also, at first they didn’t know that I was the blogger who was coming to visit the boutique.) I love how the team was extremely proactive in recommending suitable apparel for me. A* for service!

Looked around and finally revealed who I am. Took out my camera and started snapping.

Plus Sized Label FLOW, Suitable For Every CURVILISTA!

Finally checked out the FLOW counter at Isetan Scotts and I am extremely impressed by the collections. Love the designs made of bold prints and patterns. Read on to find out more about my experience with FLOW!

Just take the escalator up to level 2 of Isetan Scotts and you’ll definitely see the FLOW counter!

The best part about it is that not only does FLOW sell apparels, but they also have their very own line of accessories!

Moving to the apparels I tried when I was at Isetan Scotts!

Jaw Drop…. I love this Embellished Chiffon Batwing Top in Turqoise. I keep thinking about how comfortable it is and how the colour is so striking. Should I go back to the FLOW counter at Isetan Scotts to get this?

Check out the embellished collars with beads of different colours.
How can anyone not fall in love with this????

Fell in love with this Abstract Print Jersey Faux Wrapped Dress because of the vibrant colours. I think I know when I should wear this! When I need a “PERK ME UP OUTFIT” to cheer myself up after a bad week, maybe?!

Ah….. I love this Leopard Print Jersey Skirt. 

Check out how a top can make a difference in how your overall outfit will look like. Left – probably suitable for me to wear when meeting new clients or attending business meetings and right – probably a chill night out with my girls! I think pencil skirts look great on curvy girls, so ignore the naysayers, girlfriends.

Many of my readers and friends have asked me about the price range of FLOW. The prices ranges from about $80 onwards, which I think is perfectly affordable considering other physical plus size shops are selling their apparels within this price range. 

Also, I still get emails from readers saying that they are afraid to try wearing bright colours and would prefer to stick to muted colours. I hope that this post will show you that, fashion rules are meant to be broken! If I can do it, so can you!!
