The other day, I visited the Carlo Rino showroom to take a look at their Spring Summer 2012 Collection. 

As you may have known, I was invited down to their event last year as a guest blogger.

This is my very first camera. I've never had one.
The rest of the camera's I've used for this blog belongs to daddy. It feels really good

OMG I KNOW RIGHT.

Virtulips Contest. I want to win 3 sessions of Babor Facial by At Beauty Wellness!

I was never born with great skin. I started developing pimples at a very young age

and I've never liked my skin. My skin colour is always OH SO DULL and

there's still alot of pimple scars. *Sigh* I rarely reveal my 

real make-upless photo on my blog because of those scars. 

Yes, whatever you see online are photos of me with make up and 

most of the time photoshopped. :P 

The first and last time I went for a facial was a year ago at 

Far East. The person was very pushy and asked me to 

sign up with them. I couldn't even if I wanted to because I'm still a student

and let's be very honest, facials aren't exactly very cheap. 

I hope I win this 3 sessions of Babor Facial and hopefully 

be able to improve my skin condition. Also, I hope to share this experience 

with my blog readers. If I win, I'll reveal the Before and After and hopefully

you won't get a heart attack looking at my Before photo. :P

Polytechnic, the stepping stone. 

I've always believed that Singapore Polytechnic has the strongest brand name

compared to the other polytechnics (in my opinion).
 Did you know that SP was established in 1954,
even before Singapore's independence?
HOW COOL IS THAT?! 

Making friends from different races,

 religions and backgrounds. 

Eventhough we come from different family backgrounds, 

different races and have different opinions of things, what makes our kampong 

strong is our friendship.We spent Hari Raya, Deepavali and alot of other 

occasions together. How awesome is that?  Friends like this, you'll never ever forget. :')

Breakfast, lunch and dinner. 

It's time to eat!

Here in Singapore, there's a variety of food choices. You'll definitely 

be spoilt for choice. Each cuisine is special in their very own way. 

We have the Malay cuisine, the Chinese cuisine and the Indian cuisine. 

Being a food lover, I've always believed that food is one thing that 

is capable of uniting people no matter who they are, where they come from. 

We all enjoy good food, don't we? :)

supported by NTUC and National Library Board (NLB),
to find out what you want to know and learn, and how you can apply
infocomm to enrich in 5 areas of your life:
Health, Career, Family, Social and Leisure.

All you have to do is to send in what you would like to find out and
what you want to learn relating to the 5 areas of life.

I'm gonna take part too!

HEALTH

I'm ALWAYS forgetting about my health appointments.
So is there a way that I can keep track all of my loved ones medical appointments?
This will make it easier for me to keep track of my grandmother's appointments
so that I can remind her when she'll her medical check up!

CAREER

I'm still in my second year in polytechnic and its never to early
to think about what I want to do in the future.
However, I'm not really sure about what I want in life.
Is there a way for me to keep abreast about the latest
job fairs/ career talks available?

FAMILY

I've always wanted to know more about my ancestors.
A few months ago I Google-ed late grandfather and I found out that
there was an article published in Berita Harian in 1986 written about my late grandfather.

so that we, the new generation will be able to know more about our ancestors?

SOCIAL

I think life now is very different from the old times.
People used to stay in kampongs and they would always help each other out.
That's the kampong spirit. Now that we live in HDB flats, we don't talk to each
other anymore. We share lifts but we'd look down and we don't
say HI to each other anymore. How can infocomm help to
bring back the kampong spirit in us?

LEISURE

Singapore is a really small country and sometimes I'm clueless
about where my date and I should go because there's really not much
interesting places we can think of. Is there an app that will recommend awesome dating spots for us?
