Review: The Glamourous Factory

Tuesday, April 8, 2014 / , ,

MynameisQUE;

2 beauty related postings consecutively. I'm on a roll! :P
I've tried a couple of the services at The Glamourous Factory. Located both Plaza Singapura and The Clift (near Telok Ayer street), I love how this parlour has so many services, from head to toe. They even have good deals from 2 - 5pm at the outlet for the CBD babes.

Underarm waxing -$8
Gellish Express Manicure - $18
Eyebrow Shapping - $8
Express Manicure - $8

The customer service here is amazing! The beauticians here are really very friendly. Very personalised service, I must say and you can see that they love their job! I mean, it's easy to see when someone is passionate or just serving you for the sake of her job. Their outlet at The Clift is just a stone throw's away from my new workplace. So yes, you'll probably see me chilling at the outlet after a long day at work.

Of the 2 outlets, I would suggest Plaza Singapura if you're heading out after your pampering session because it's quite a convenient location to shop and eat. Be warned that it may be quite noisy and crowded because it's just beside 1 Market, by Chef Wan. Expect lots of families with kids hanging out around the same area.

However, if you want a more "exclusive" session, somewhere away from the busy crowd then I'd recommend the other outlet at The Clift. My personal fav!

Review: Nail Rock 3D

Sunday, April 6, 2014 / , , , ,

MynameisQUE;

Just tried the Nail Rock 3D Designer nail wraps. The brand has tonnes of different design so you're definitely bound to find something you like. This design just screams fabulous!

I love how it's really quite easy to use but as you can see, I'm not really good at trimming the edges. I'd totally opt for this nail wraps if I really don't have time to visit the manicurist and yet have an important event to  attend. Convenient? Definitely.

Just stick, fold and file your nails. You don't have to apply any nail polish, no need to wait for the stickers to dry up. Each Nail Rock pack contains 16 nails wraps in different sizes for finger and toe nails.

However, if you're looking for something long lasting, I'd recommend you to go for gel nails instead.

These nail wraps retails at Watsons at $14.90 each.
